Our 2008 Submission to the Des Moines 48-Hour-Film Project. The requirements were as follows: Prop - Blue Painter's tape Character - Alan West - Door to Door Salesman Line of Dialog - What's it to you, Pal? Our assigned Genre was "Film de Femme", which we returned for a wild-card. We ended up getting "Silent Film" When we submitted this movie, it was disqualified by the staff for "not fitting the requirements of the genre", even though the "non-complaint" portion was obviously done on purpose in order to set up the Silent Film portion (In our minds this was creativity in action) What do you think? Should we have been disqualified? Or did we make a Silent Film?
